Reading Area Community College (RACC) is seeking a qualified Part-Time CPR Instructor to deliver American Heart Association CPR and First Aid instruction to students in healthcare programs and community members.

The role offers flexible daytime and evening hours, up to 29 hours per week, with on-campus training at Reading, PA. Current AHA BLS and Heartsaver First Aid certifications are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Current instructor AHA BLS and AHA Heartsaver First Aid Card required.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and effective instructional methods.
• Ability to meet AHA Training Center affiliation, monitoring, and certification renewal requirements.

Mansioni

• Provide CPR and First Aid training to community members and on-campus healthcare programs following AHA guidelines.
• Maintain current AHA BLS and Heartsaver First Aid certifications.
• Use AHA-approved materials and instructional methods to ensure quality and consistency.
• Prepare and organize training settings, materials, and equipment.
• Maintain, clean, sanitize, and inspect CPR mannequins and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Assist with ordering and inventory of CPR supplies and training materials.
• Lift and move CPR equipment as needed for class setup and breakdown.
• Enter class records and participant information into college databases with data integrity.
• Collaborate with CPR Coordinator regarding training concerns and logistics.
• Foster positive relationships with staff, partners, and site personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain confidentiality of student records.
