You will review medical documentation, assign CPT/ICD-10 codes, manage authorizations, and liaise with clinicians, payers, billing staff, and patients in a collaborative team setting.

This part-time role (20–30 hours per week) requires accuracy, familiarity with CPT/ICD-10, and HIPAA compliance, with potential on-the-job CPC certification support.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical coding.
• Proficiency with CPT and ICD-10 coding; E&M is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with insurance verification processes.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Certification as CPC (preferred; assistance with certification).

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for coding accuracy.
