Position: Full-Time Courtesy Officer / Security

Pay: $22-$26 per hour

Schedule:

• Part-time, up to 29 hours per week.
• Schedule to be determined.
• Overnight and weekend shifts will be required.

What You’ll Do:

As a Courtesy Officer, you’ll help keep our residents and properties safe, secure, and welcoming. Key responsibilities include:

• Walking regular patrols around the property.
• Addressing loitering, unauthorized visitors, or suspicious activity.
• Responding to resident questions, concerns, or emergencies.
• Working closely with property management and local authorities as needed.
• Documenting any incidents or concerns.
• Providing a helpful and visible presence to deter unwanted activity.
• Other tasks as assigned by Director of Operation.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (some security training preferred).
• Security license for South Dakota (or willingness to get one within your first week—company will help guide you through the process).
• Prior experience in security, property management, or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and professionally handle all situations.
• Able to walk, patrol, and lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible with schedule – available for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
