Job summary

Meijer is hiring cart attendants to support store operations in Michigan. You will shuttle carts, manage parking lot cleanup, and assist across departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, and Outdoor.

The role includes basic cleaning and safety around snow removal equipment, with potential for additional duties as needed. The team emphasizes meeting customers with friendly service, maintaining a fast-paced environment, and contributing to a well-organized store experience while

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist when handling products or equipment.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
