Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking cart attendants to help maintain store operations and customer service. You will ferry carts, manage parking lot and interior trash, assist with snow removal, and handle returns while supporting multiple departments to keep the store running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with good listening and communication skills, capable of lifting and maneuvering products, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside the store back inside.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for removing snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Collaborate with departments across Health/Beauty, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card/Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
