Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Zoom, email, and document programs.
• Strong reading and verbal communication skills with clear pronunciation.
• Six months or more full‑time or one year or more part‑time experience working with students in an educational setting.
• Sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Dictate instructional materials, practice drills, and speed tests for court reporting students at varying speeds.
• Use a stopwatch to ensure accurate timing during all dictation sessions.
• Maintain consistent pacing and clarity appropriate to each speed level.
• Foster a professional and supportive learning environment.
• Assist students in the proper use of computers and other tools in the classroom.
