Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. invites applications for Part-Time Instructors in Counseling for Spring 2026 or Summer 2026.

The successful candidate will teach counseling courses, both introductory and advanced, and work with faculty to deliver quality instruction in a flexible, student-centered environment. Responsibilities include teaching face-to-face and/or online, advising students, supporting student organizations, and contributing to program development and assessment, while

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision or closely related field from a CACREP accredited institution.
• Minimum 1–3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and advanced Counseling courses face-to-face and/or online.
• Attend training and review sessions.
• Provide academic advising to students and support student organizations.
• Contribute to program development and assessment.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff in the department and university.
