Job summary

The Master in Counseling Program at OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track instructor positions to teach on a term by term basis for the 2026-2027 academic year. Some appointments may be renewed annually at the discretion of the Dean of Academic Affairs.

This position is located in Bend, Oregon and may involve teaching on campus graduate courses in School Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field.
• Licensed and/or certified as a professional counselor or related license.
• Ability to integrate inclusive excellence into counseling instruction and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Administer and teach course(s) term-by-term in Counseling (Clinical Mental Health and School).
• Complete course assessment processes and improve teaching effectiveness.
• Advise students, hold office hours, manage records and minor admin tasks.
