The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
This position requires a Cosmetology Operators license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and certificate of cosmetology instructor training of 500 hours or more if the candidate did not previously hold a Cosmetology Operator Instructors license prior to September 1, 2021. 36 months of full time work experience is also required. A criminal background check is also required.
