Job summary

New Jersey Association on Correction is seeking a dedicated food service worker to plan, prepare and serve nutritious meals under supervision. You will maintain inventory, plan weekly menus, and handle ordering for the weekly food supply, ensuring hygienic kitchen practices and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planning, ordering, storing, preparing and serving of food.
• Keep running inventory of all food.
• Plan menus one week in advance.
• Prepare weekly food order for review and purchase.
• Maintain kitchen, utensils and storage areas in a hygienic manner.
• Prepare and serve meals according to assigned schedule.
