Mediko Inc located in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a Part Time Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to inmates in a correctional setting. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care while documenting accurately in medical records.

The candidate must hold a current MD/DO license with a valid state license, DEA registration if applicable, and CPR/BLS

Qualifications

• Current, valid state license to practice in the applicable clinical role.
• Active CPR/BLS certificate required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical practice, with 1–2 years in a correctional healthcare or underserved population setting preferred.
• Experience in diagnosis, treatment planning, and providing healthcare services in a managed care or correctional facility setting is highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a correctional setting, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare staff to develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to healthcare regulations and facility policies.
