Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Part-Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care at the McLean County Detention Facility in Bloomington, IL.

The role requires an active RN license in the state and a 2-year degree, with day shift responsibilities and on-site work. You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vital signs, document accurately, and collaborate with practitioners while maintaining HIPAA and facility policies.

Formación

• Active nursing license in the state where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; hands-on training.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Knowledge of the RN scope of practice.

Responsabilidades

• Timely and accurately assess, plan, and deliver nursing care to patients.
• Contact practitioner to obtain orders.
• Administer prescribed medication, treatments and other tasks as ordered by the practitioner.
• Provide emergency first aid care, when appropriate.
• Check and record vital signs, peak flows, blood glucose checks, weight, and other diagnostic tests on-site.
• Triage officer intake screenings for necessity and priority at sick call.
• Collect and record data for statistical reporting on the CQI.
• Record care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with multiple medical services for diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control precautions.
