This part-time role (16 hours per week) supports the Dentist and correctional staff in delivering quality dental care in a secure, clinical setting. The ideal candidate has completed a 1-2 year dental assistant program, holds CPR certification, and can pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Complete a 1-2 year dental assistant program.
• Maintain CPR certification.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentist with patient care, procedures, instruments, supplies, and documentation.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist during treatment.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Keep dental suite clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with scheduling, patient records, and cine reports.
