Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time Chaplain to serve employees and their families within a 30-mile radius of Stockton, CA. You will provide spiritual care, counseling, and referral services in a workplace setting.

The role emphasizes compassion, confidentiality, and collaboration with client companies. Regular visits and flexible scheduling are required to support staff across client sites.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose.
• Interacts with companies, their employees, and the community in a manner that exhibits character through personal and spiritual disciplines.
• Makes brief visits to company worksites regularly to interact with employees and build relationships.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions and coordination for specialized assistance to employees and/or immediate family members.
• May assist in planning or attending funerals and supporting grieving employees and families.
