Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to serve employees and their families in the Plymouth Meeting area. Chaplains visit worksites weekly, provide confidential pastoral support, and partner with client companies to promote well-being and morale.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary and interfaith team.
• Strong listening and interpersonal communication with clients and families.
• Spiritual maturity with a Christian lifestyle and church involvement.
• Diplomacy, patience, and excellent customer service in diverse groups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership and staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with policy interpretation.
• Computer proficiency with Google Suites and MS Office.
• Valid state driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Visit worksites regularly to build relationships and faith-based support.
• Provide pastoral guidance and counseling to employees and families.
• Coordinate referrals to specialized assistance as needed.
• May plan and attend funerals and provide follow-up support.
• Support notifications of death or serious injuries to families.
• Assist in post-termination care for employees.
• Deliver faith-based enrichment activities when appropriate.
• Provide literature and resources on life issues as requested.
• Represent the chaplain team to clients regarding ministry services.
• Participate in new employee orientation about Employee Care Service.
• Coordinate with Executive Director of Operations for other duties.
