Job summary

Kettering Heights is seeking a part-time cook to prepare meals and snacks for residents, following menus and dietary requirements, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. You will work with the dietary and care teams to meet residents' needs and assist with meal service.

This role features rotating days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A caring attitude and ability to follow recipes are essential; prior food-service experience is preferred, with training available.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food-service experience preferred, but training may be provided.
• Dependable and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to follow recipes and dietary instructions.
• Caring attitude and respect for residents.
• Food-handler certification may be required by state or facility regulations.

• Work closely with the dietary and care teams to meet residents' needs.
• Keep a positive attitude and bring a little personality to the kitchen!
• Perform other kitchen and dietary duties as needed.
