Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents according to standardized recipes and menus, while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. The role requires attention to dietary modifications and strict food safety standards.

You will record production quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate food, and maintain logs and equipment. The position supports dining service as needed and can lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
