Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of cook experience in a fast-paced quick-serve restaurant preferred.
• California Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follows all SOPs.
• Complies with Long Beach Health Department and OSHA procedures.
• Ensures quality product is prepared and served promptly.
• Follows menus and maintains product quality and safety.
• Stores food at proper temperatures and using correct containers.
• Tastes and tests foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Receives, inspects, and stocks supplies; tracks quantities for planning.
