Mercy Retirement & Care Center in Oakland, CA is seeking a part-time cook/chef to prepare meals for residents under the direction of lead cook. You will handle assigned stations, adhere to dietary restrictions, and maintain kitchen safety.

Required are 1–2 years cooking experience, ability to work Saturdays/Sundays, strong communication, and adherence to safety and state/local guidelines. CPR/First Aid may be required; background checks and fingerprinting may be required where applicable.

Qualifikationen

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1–2 years of cook/sous chef/grill cook experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare high quality food for residents with dietary restrictions.
• Flexibility to work weekends; schedule may vary.
• Maintain professional relationships with food venders as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; work with staff and residents.
• Ability to prepare therapeutic/modified diets.
• CPR and first aid training may be required per state/local guidelines.
• Background check, drug screen, fingerprinting may be required in some locations.
