Job summary

Harris Teeter in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time food service associate with experience in line cook, prep cook, or related roles. You will take care of customers, prepare and stock products, and maintain Fresh Foods standards while working with a friendly team.

Responsibilities include cooking support, packaging, stocking, and providing excellent service. Must be at least 18, and able to read English; training will be provided to ensure quality and safety across all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; and culinary experience and sales.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and write simple correspondence in English.
• Knowledge of cooking terminology, ingredients, and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Provide customer service, clean work areas, unload stock, and reload salvage products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
