Job summary

Koelsch Communities is seeking a Cook for The Inn at University Village's Culinary Department in Vancouver, WA. This part-time role offers morning shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $19-$21 per hour based on experience.

You'll prepare nutritious, appealing meals for residents, maintain safety and cleanliness, follow menus, and support a collaborative kitchen team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation, production and plate presentation.
• Must be drug-free and submit to a drug screening upon hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Knowledge of special dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is prepared in a nutritional, appetizing fashion, and presented per the menu and schedule.
• Properly store, date, and rotate food per food handling guidelines.
• Keep the environment safe and clean; follow kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
