Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation's Brewings & Eats is seeking a part-time Cook to create world-class dishes that pair with our beers and spirits, while keeping orders flowing safely and efficiently.

You will follow recipes, prep stations per par sheet, help control food costs, rotate and label ingredients, monitor equipment, and maintain sanitation and safety standards to ensure consistent quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year culinary/kitchen experience in a high-volume setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Regular walking and standing up to 11 hours a day on various surfaces
• Experience with executing recipes and using kitchen equipment

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to timely fill food orders with consistent taste, quality and presentation
• Prepares and sets up food for all stations per par sheet; provide feedback on pars
• Supports kitchen cost control via proper rotating, labeling and preparing of all food
• Maintains awareness of equipment and inventory; informs management of potential concerns
• Fosters positive teamwork and communication within the kitchen and other restaurant teams
• Enforces safety regulations and the company safety program
• Ensures sanitation initiatives are followed and checklists completed on time
