Kids for the Future in Grand Forks, ND seeks a school meals worker to prepare and serve meals to students, ensuring nutrition and safety standards are met. This is a 9-month academic-term position with about 25 hours per week, mainly mornings.
Eligibility requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus strong communication and teamwork skills. Wage ranges from $16.42 to $20.31 per hour, with no benefits included.
Education:High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
Qualifications: Positive human relations skills. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Job Summary: Providing customer service, develop food preparation and production skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Work Environment and Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will need to consistently engage in walking and standing; occasionally walk and stand. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; The physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others.
Terms of Employment: Nine (9) months (academic school year of the students enrolled).
Hours/days: Working 5 hours per day Monday - Friday at 25 hoursper week; between the hours of 6:00am and 2:00 pm.
