Job description

The part-time Cook Center Event Worker will help withsetting up events, working and cleaning up after events and general organization of facility.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Help with moving tables and chairs for Navarro College and private events.
• Will require working some evening events.
• Basic cleaning of the building before and after events.
• Help with organizing supplies.
• General organization and cleaning of facility.
• Provide a work schedule to Assistant Event Coordinator.
• Attend workers meetings as called.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

Required :

• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred :

• Guest service experience

WORKING CONDITIONS :

• Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position. Times will be flexible according to event schedule.
• May require working some evenings and weekends.
• Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
• Ability to lift and move loads up to 40 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation.

SALARY : $10.00 per hour / up to 19 hours per week
