Part Time Line Cook

Cabot Cove of Largo is seeking a Part Time Cook. We are Florida’s premier 61-unit Assisted Living community. Our successful employees are highly focused on getting the job done, straightforward, smart, and want to help the elderly enjoy their lives.

Schedule: 2-7 pm Tues, Wed, and Thursday; 6 am-2:30 pm Fri and Sat.

Compensation: $17.00-$18.00/hour

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the meals you cook are great tasting and great looking.
  • Follow the recipes and the dietician-approved menu as directed by your Supervisor.
  • Know specialized diets, ensuring all kitchen staff knows what residents’ current diets are.
  • Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen after service.
  • When directed by your Supervisor, ensure all deliveries match delivery documentation. Report any discrepancies to your Supervisor immediately.
  • Unload and stock deliveries as directed by your Supervisor.
  • Be responsible for rotating stock to ensure items are used prior to expiration as directed by Supervisor.
