Job summary

Rite of Passage Team in Arkansas is hiring a Part-Time Cook for The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center, a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21.

The Dermott center offers an on-site school, library, and vocational training, with a pay range of $16.00–$17.17 per hour based on education and experience. Applicants must be 21+, and pass background, TB and drug tests, with a valid driver’s license. High School diploma or better is required.

• Must pass criminal background check, drug, TB tests.
• Must pass search of abuse central registries.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license.

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part- Time Cook at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center

DJTC is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21, located outside of Dermott, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, DJTC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay : $16.00 - $17.17 per hour based on education and experience.

To be considered you should:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• must have a clean driving record as well as an active driver’s license.
