Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time cook for our dining services in a memory care environment. You will prepare nutritionally balanced meals from planned menus, ensure appealing presentation, and accommodate resident dietary needs with high hospitality standards.

You will also handle dining room service, sanitation, and assist with inventory and event preparations, while collaborating with staff to maintain a supportive community atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience High school diploma/GED is required.
• Six months of experience with cooking and baking from scratch in a commercial setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced meals based on planned menus.
• Ensure pleasing plate presentation and adherence to resident preferences and diets.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in kitchen and dining areas.
• Provide attentive dining room service, setup, service, and cleanup.
• Assist with inventory and supply management for kitchenettes and common areas.
• Support special events preparation and positive resident interactions.

POSITION SUMMARY

Part Time 6am 2pm and 11am 7pm Responsible for preparing and serving planned menu as well as maintaining quality standards in the dining services department

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
