Position Summary

Full Time 6am 2pm and 11am 7pm Responsible for preparing and serving planned menu as well as maintaining quality standards in the dining services department

Essential Functions

Prepare tasteful nutritionally balanced meals based on pre planned menusPrepare meals with consideration of resident preferences and food safety standardsResponsible for ensuring pleasing plate presentation for all mealsEnsuring resident special diets are offered and prepared recognizing a residents right to chooseComplete dining room service including set up service and clean up with high hospitality standardsAssist with inventory and maintain supplies in all common area kitchenettesFollow the sanitation schedule for kitchen equipment and dining room to maintain standard of sanitation and cleanlinessParticipate in preparation for special eventsPromote positive relationships with residents staff and visitorsPerform any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Must work to demonstrate Leisure Living Management Values Live and work each day with purposeAccept accountability and demonstrate responsibilityEmbrace lifelong learningPromote mutual respectDisplay transparencyAppreciate diversityPractice forgivenessBe thankful
