Job summary

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Cook to join our Broadway-inspired culinary team. You will apply culinary techniques, support the team, and help deliver WOW guest experiences in a fast-paced convention and banquet environment.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. Availability for varied shifts including weekends is required. MGM Resorts offers wellness programs, employee meals, parking, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• 2+ years of relevant culinary experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Apply culinary techniques to prepare and present dishes.
• Identify and safely use kitchen equipment.
• Restock and organize kitchen supplies and food items.
• Label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and plate presentation.
• Assist kitchen leadership and staff during service.
• Prepare base sauces, stocks and soups as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet guest needs and deliver WOW experiences.
