Job summary

Iowa Western Community College Inc is seeking part-time instructors to teach non-credit courses such as career certificates, professional development, and personal enrichment classes in a variety of formats from one day to several weeks. Instructors will prep and present material, coordinate with the Program Coordinator, and complete required paperwork.

Effective time management to ensure classes run smoothly and on schedule

Excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude and ability to function collaboratively as part of a customer-oriented team
Regular, prompt and reliable attendance
Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

Prepare and present course material during assigned course times.
Coordinate materials with the Program Coordinator, and follow up with necessary paperwork.
Instructors will work with coordinators to ensure attendance is taken, curriculum is up to date, syllabus is accurate, and final reporting is completed.
