Alpha-Omega Disaster Restoration is seeking an experienced Part-Time Contents Technician to join our Billings, MT team. The role focuses on packing out personal property, conducting inventories with smart devices, and cleaning to restore contents and structures after disasters.

Hours are between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM with a flexible schedule. Benefits include paid training and a supportive team environment; travel to sites may be required with company covering expenses.

Qualifications

• Experience in moving, storage, restoration, cleaning, warehouse, construction, or customer service is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and care when handling customers’ personal belongings.
• Ability to use basic computer, tablet, or smartphone applications.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packing, labeling, inventorying, moving, and resetting customers’ contents.
• Use handheld electronic devices to complete accurate inventories.
• Load and unload contents onto trucks while ensuring safe handling and organization.
• Clean smoke residue, debris, and other contaminants from contents and structures using professional methods.
• Assist with post-construction cleaning to help prepare homes for occupancy.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites, shop areas, and workspaces.
• Follow company procedures, safety expectations, and assigned work orders.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Use cleaning, deodorization, and antimicrobial products as needed.
• Travel to job sites as assigned, with expenses covered by the company when applicable.

Working Conditions:

• Work may take place in environments that are dirty, wet, smoky, dusty, or otherwise impacted by property damage.
• Proper personal protective equipment will be required based on job site conditions.
• The position may involve use of cleaning, deodorization, and antimicrobial products.
• Occasional additional hours may be available based on project needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry items such as boxes, furniture, and contents, up to 50–75 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and work on uneven surfaces.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed work, including packing fragile items, labeling boxes, and operating electronic inventory tools.
• Ability to perform active, hands-on work throughout scheduled shifts.

Schedule:

Part-time schedule with work hours available between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Specific days and hours may be discussed based on business needs and candidate availability.

Salary:

$20.00-$23.00 DOE depending on experience.
