Responsibilities

• Provide consultations referred by medical, surgical, pediatric, and obstetric services.
• Assess patient mental health status and diagnose disorders.
• Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
• Document patient progress and develop treatment plans.
• Supervise psychologists, psychology interns, and medical/PA students.
• Participate in ethics meetings, court hearings, and multidisciplinary rounds.
• Contribute to clinical care, documentation, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance.
