Job summary

LaBella Associates is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors (Part-Time) in Lockport, NY to observe and document construction activities on multiple sites. The assignment runs 2–3 days per week for approximately 20 months, with potential to transition to full-time.

Applicants should have 5–7 years in construction inspection, a relevant 4-year degree (CM/Engineering/Architecture), and OSHA 10-hour certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior relevant work experience in construction inspection and knowledge of roads, stormwater utilities, water and sanitary sewer line installations.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural plans.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Construction Inspection experience.
• 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
• OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Additional certification requirements may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities at project sites.
• Travel regularly to field locations as required.
• Prepare field reports and record documents for project records.
