Job summary

The City of Hanford is seeking five part-time Concession Attendants in the Recreation and Community Services Department to support concession operations. You will prepare and serve food and beverages, handle cash transactions, and ensure a clean, safe environment across department locations.

Under supervision, you will provide customer service, restock supplies, and follow health and safety standards. This position requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and is open to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently attending high school).
• Must be at least 16 years old at appointment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve concession food and beverages.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and digital transactions.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to patrons.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession areas.
• Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety standards.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
