Job summary

OPI is seeking a dependable part-time Driver to transport staff and clients between offices, participant apartments, and appointments in Woodland Hills, CA. You will report to the Site Supervisor (Transportation Coordinator) and help ensure safety, timeliness, and a positive experience for everyone transported.

Responsibilities include safe operation of passenger vans, maintaining logs and vehicle cleanliness, and coordinating with the treatment team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Experience in transportation of others.
• Ability and willingness to demonstrate empathy and concern with a high risk population.
• CA Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass TB test.
• Willing to become CPR/First Aid Certified and get flu shot.
• Familiarity with San Fernando Valley.
• Interested in working with young adults ages 18-30 in a residential capacity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure participant safety, welfare, and professionalism; use de‑escalation skills when needed.
• Provide transportation for participants and staff, including airport pick‑ups/drop‑offs, and assist with luggage.
• Operate passenger vans safely, following all California traffic laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete required interior/exterior inspections each shift.
• Report vehicle issues, repairs, accidents, or safety concerns immediately; maintain accurate vehicle logs.
• Communicate regularly with the treatment team and maintain positive, professional relationships.
• Attend required trainings and maintain TB, CPR, and First Aid certifications; perform other duties as assigned.
