East-Terrace-Rehabilitation- in Los Angeles is seeking a dependable transportation assistant to move residents to medical appointments and after-hospital discharges, ensuring timely arrivals and safe transit.

The role requires maintaining the vehicle, documenting trips, and coordinating with the Administrator on repairs and reports. English communication and a clean driving record are essential; CPR is preferred.

Formación

• Verbal and written communication in English for business necessity.
• State driver's license without violations.
• CPR certification desired.
• Nursing home experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides transportation of residents to and from physician appointments in a timely manner.
• Transports residents from hospital after discharge.
• Transports medical records for signatures to medical offices.
• Maintains a high level of safety following safety policies and procedures while in Center and transporting residents.
• Maintains van in good working condition.
• Maintains van in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Assists in general with Center activities as needed.
• Exchanges information necessary for quality resident care.
• Organizes transportation of residents to complete required appointments based on priority of resident needs.
• Maintains and assists with documentation as required by company policy.
• Presents written/verbal report to the Administrator for all repairs needed.
• Attends all assigned meetings and in-services
