Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• GPS familiarity and knowledge of local area expected.
• No major traffic violations in last 7 years; limited DUIs allowed.
• Ability to lift and assist residents up to 75 pounds.
• Successful drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions; basic math skills.
• CNA training and ongoing CE to maintain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, activities, and other approved destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain interior and exterior of vehicles for safe transport and present a positive image.
• Complete required transportation documentation and follow safety regulations.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
