Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day. Pay $17.00 per hour!

Part-time positions available. Available shifts include Week 1: Wed, Sat 10p-8a; Week 2: Sun, Fri 10p-8a. This role requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible behaviors.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Help participants grow, learn, and live well.
• Develop real relationships with the individuals served.
• Support participants in community involvement and activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Help participants meet personal goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
