Job summary

A local caregiving service in Naples is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Responsibilities include encouraging home activities, assisting with hygiene tasks, meal preparation, and ensuring safety. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Prepare meals and perform light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals to social events.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Schedule

Two evenings a week from 4pm - 8pm.

• Completing daily progress notes.

Qualifications and skills

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
