Community in Motion in Vancouver, WA is seeking a part-time Specialty Transportation Driver to support our community. The role involves providing ADA-compliant transportation and door-to-door assistance to riders with mobility challenges.

The ideal candidate has at least 25 years old, a clean driving record, valid license, PASS, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to pass DOT screening. The position offers flexible weekday hours, mainly Sunday to Wednesday, with some outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and insurance.
• PASS, First Aid, and CPR certifications required.
• Must pass fingerprint background check and drug/alcohol screening.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• DOT physical exam and DOT certification required.
• One+ years driving passengers; some college coursework or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADA-compliant transportation and equitable access.
• Safely operate vehicle according to laws and policies.
• Transport passengers to destinations safely, timely, and courteously.
• Provide door-to-door assistance while preserving dignity and independence.
• Safely operate the wheelchair lift.
