Job summary

Premiere Behavioral Supports in Shamong, NJ is seeking a part-time community support staff to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily tasks and learning to cope with social challenges. Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or higher is required.
• Six months of previous professional work experience with a person with a developmental disability.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing, car insurance and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skill-building support for adults.
• Build rapport with adults with a developmental disability.
• Complete necessary documentation.
• Contribute, implement, and incorporate community-based activities and programs.
• Communicate openly and respectfully with clients.
• Assist clients with setting goals to achieve academic and personal success.
• Build self-esteem and motivation in the client.
• Complete all required training by the due date.
