Placements24 is seeking a Part-time Partnership Development Coordinator to identify, build, and nurture strategic partnerships in Paarl, Western Cape. The role focuses on expanding collaborations with local businesses, schools, and community groups to advance program delivery and organizational impact.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and negotiation skills, plus at least 3 years in partnership-focused roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma/certificate in Business Admin/Marketing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in partnership development, business development, community outreach, or related role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Paarl and wider Western Cape business/community sectors advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential partners (businesses, community orgs, schools, government) aligned with mission.
• Develop and implement strategies to initiate and cultivate partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners through regular communication.
• Collaborate with internal program teams to understand needs and identify partnership opportunities.
• Develop partnership proposals and agreements outlining roles, responsibilities, and mutual benefits.
• Organize and facilitate meetings and events to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships.
• Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, and industry gatherings.
• Track partnership activities and prepare regular reports for management.
• Support fundraising by identifying corporate sponsorship opportunities and contributing to proposals.
