Job summary

West Virginia University in the Charleston area is seeking a Part-Time Program Ambassador to support the Brad and Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development Collaborative’s Talent Attraction and Retention efforts. You will help represent the program, build meaningful community connections, and support participants and partners in local activities.

This role requires evening/weekend availability, travel within WV, and collaboration with WVU staff and partners such as the Charleston Area Alliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; two years of public speaking experience.
• Experience giving professional presentations to groups, stakeholders, and donors.
• All qualifications must be met by employment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the OEDC's talent attraction and retention efforts in the Charleston Area.
• Support outreach, community engagement, events, and participant experiences.
• Assist with administrative processes and program coordination.
