West Virginia University in the Charleston Area is seeking a Part-Time Program Ambassador to support Talent Attraction and Retention efforts. You will work with local stakeholders, community partners, and program staff to promote awareness and connect participants with opportunities.

The role requires evening and weekend availability, collaboration with WVU staff, and travel within WV as needed. Up to 18 hours per week in a part-time, non-benefits eligible position.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree (required by employment).
• At least two years of public speaking and giving professional presentations to groups, stakeholders, and potential donors.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Represent the Smith OEDC’s talent attraction and retention programs in the Charleston Area region.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations to support outdoor economy initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for program participants to engage with local events and activities.
• Participate in presentations, panels, meetings, and events to share program information.
• Communicate the program's mission, experiences, and impact to prospective participants and partners.
