Job summary

Universal MH/DD/SAS is seeking a dependable, compassionate Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one Community Living and Supports services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help the person supported build independence, participate in the community, and work toward personal goals.

The role is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with some weekend hours available, averaging approximately 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Candidate should be dependable and compassionate.
• Experience in one-on-one support or similar care roles is a plus.
• Requires strong communication and ability to promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily personal needs while promoting dignity, choice and independence.
• Teach and reinforce habilitative and independent-living skills.
• Support participation in meaningful community activities.
