Job summary

Universal MH/DD/SAS is seeking a dependable Community Support Technician to provide one-on-one Community Living and Supports services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wilmington, NC.

You will help the person supported build independence, participate in the community, and work toward personal goals through in-home and community-based activities.

Schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays 2:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. with some weekend hours, approximately 10 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily personal needs while promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
• Teach and reinforce habilitative and independent-living skills.
• Support participation in meaningful community activities.
