Responsibilities

• Ensure that all foods are prepared and served according to recipes, portions, and standards.
• Prepare forms, reports, and schedules in an organized manner.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and in good working condition per policies.
• Control food cost via proper requisition, storage, recipes, and waste control.
• Follow agency policies and report concerns to the program director.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas.
• Monitor proper food holding and refrigeration temperatures.
• Communicate with the full-time cook when ingredients run low or feedback from clients.
• Ensure all scheduled cleaning is completed and stay current with required trainings.
