Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Utah is hiring part-time Community Integration Counselors in Bountiful. The CIC helps individuals with learning physical, intellectual, emotional, and social life skills through personalized community-based supports.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, totaling 24 hours per week. Starting pay is $16.95 per hour. Responsibilities include supporting independence, coordinating transportation, documenting progress, and collaborating with licensing and staff to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of two years’ experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
• Background checks including criminal, central registry, child abuse registry and drug testing are required.

Responsibilities

• Support and encourage individuals to increase independence.
• Meet with waiver participants in residence, community, or office settings.
• Provide ongoing support for community integration efforts.
• Document individual progress toward community integration.
• Assist in building a support network between the individual and the community.
• Coordinate transportation to medical appointments and activities.
