Job summary

Legacy Communities is seeking a part-time Maintenance team member to uphold the appearance and upkeep of a manufactured home community. The role focuses on building, landscaping, cleaning, and repairs while fostering positive resident relationships.

You will perform landscaping maintenance around common areas, water meter reads, and basic repairs, with duties including winter shoveling and after-hours incident response. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and maintenance.
• Familiar with health and safety regulations and practices.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping around Clubhouse including watering of grass and shrubs.
• Conduct monthly water meter reads—typically 2 to 3 days.
• Deliver notices and communications to residents.
• Maintain landscaping of common areas including mowing and trimming trees and bushes.
• Conduct trash pickup throughout the community daily.
• Shovel ice and keep pathways clear in winter.
• Maintain the community pool to comply with health standards.
• Respond to after-hour water and sewer emergencies.
• Troubleshoot water/sewer breaks and repair meters.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow-ups on work.
• Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
• Establish workload plans to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
