Job summary

KW Property Management LLC is seeking a Personal Trainer / Fitness Instructor for a part-time role in a residential community in Groveland, FL. The position involves creating and delivering fitness programs outdoors and in-group settings, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or related field (preferred), have CPR/AED certification, and 2+ years of training experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred but not required.
• Accredited personal training or group training certification required.
• Personal training or group training certification required.
• Must have current, valid CPR/AED certification
• 2+ years’ experience in personal training or group fitness instruction.
• Ability to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations for clients.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate and train in one‑on‑one, small group and large group situations.
• Must successfully tailor programs to fit various age groups and fitness levels.

Responsibilities

• Advise Residents on issues related to fitness, using knowledge of fitness, exercise principles and major health risk factors.
• Promote the use of the facilities to our Residents
• Provide exceptional Customer Service by exceeding client’s expectations and needs.
• Develop, implement and provide fitness services and programs to community members.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge about fitness and personal training by remaining current with trends in the industry.
• Develop and teach fitness programs that fit the needs of Resident and develop individualized fitness programs.
• Work with fellow staff members to ensure the cleanliness of fitness facilities.
• Assess the client’s level of physical fitness and help them set and reach their fitness goals.
• Handle scheduling of personal training sessions for clients and help create workout incentive programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with director and guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate and train in one‑on‑one, small group and large group situations.
• Needs to show initiative and passion to community members.
